Beginning with the paper files, every page is examined, rips and tears are repaired and staples are removed. The documents are digitized, and once scanned, every page is checked for quality by comparing the digital image to the original paper document.
Anything of substandard quality is rescanned. At the conclusion of the scan process, each file can be named according to individual clinic or doctor preference. In many cases, existing patient records or billing system data can be leveraged to mitigate errors.
A confidentiality agreement can be signed to allow for the transfer of patient data.
