Apollo Hospitals Launches It’s 50th Hospital at Secunderabad

 

Chennai, Tamil Nadu -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/05/2010 -- The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri K Rosaiah inaugurated the Apollo Hospitals, Secunderabad today, here. Speaking on the occasion Dr Prathap Reddy complimented Sri Rosaiah for taking quality healthcare to large sections of population. Dr Reddy said India is already the Diabetic and Heart disease capital of the world and by 2015 is expected to be the cancer capital of the world with the current cancer incidence of 10mn likely to double. This ignominy can be avoided by spreading awareness that early detection of cancer can cure the disease. He announced Apollo’s initiative in working towards early detection of cancer by offering cancer screening for the next 10 years, 6 days a week, between 5 & 8 pm at two-third of the cost. Dr Reddy said our goal is to touch billion lives, we will be able to make a significant difference through such facilities and keep away such diseases. He added, that India should develop healthcare facilities to proudly announce to the world that India is not only prosperous country but also a healthy country.
