Raleigh, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/13/2014 -- Raleigh preschool and child care center, Primary Beginnings, is excited to unveil their new playground design at their Spring Forest center!

Primary Beginnings is a 5-Star rated preschool and child care center in Raleigh, NC. They are committed to providing an environment designed to help children learn and grow through developmental and age-appropriate practices.

Last Fall, Primary Beginnings at Spring Forest was selected to receive the “Preventing Obesity Through Design” grant, which was created to help reverse the trend of childhood obesity while improving environmental diversity throughout North Carolina. The grant is part of The Natural Learning Initiative/North Carolina State University College of Design program.

The new playground design features different areas for children to explore the outdoors. There will be lots of greenery and a garden.
