Kudzai’s journey as a singer-songwriter began when she was in junior high school where she wrote the first rap verse of “Time Will Tell” in response to a challenge. She was only fifteen years old. Since then her passion for music exploded. While studying art in college, she performed with a local band (URJ) as a back up singer and it was only in 1998, when the American rap group The Lost Boyz toured Zimbabwe that she took to the stage on her own as a curtain raiser, a performance which became documented in a national newspaper.

Mike Paraliki and his business partners from Stonehills hair salon were tasked with the styling. Bringing a bespoke hair design especially for the song that resembles futuristic and modern tied into current styling trends. “We are all so very pleased with the results.
