Speaking English Is Just One of the Reasons to Study in New Zealand

A New Zealand School Seeks to Teach Foreign Students The English Language

18 South Highway, Whitianga -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/27/2014 -- The web pages of http://www.antimoon.com compel readers worldwide to improve their command of the English language. They stress the importance of speaking and writing the language with this advice. “You should be able to both learn and use English at the same time with sheer enjoyment. Using the English language is an important aspect of learning because it increases your desire to learn to speak it correctly. Once you understand and speak English well, you will be able to take in English language television, movies, music, books and the internet.”

Furthermore their writers express why English has become an international language that everyone needs to learn. Their statistics state, “Approximately 1,500,000,000 people speak English on a global basis. At any one time, another 1,000,000,000 people are working to learn and gain a level of proficiency in this language.” The reasons for this are clear. “If you want a good job in business, law, technology or science, there is no better language to speak fluently.”

Meeting the needs of students on an international basis is the mission of Evakona Education. Explaining the unique style of her school, spokesperson Akio Evakona explains, “We purposely keep our class sizes as small as ten students per class. We make sure all of our instructors are friendly and highly qualified to teach English to all of our students. Within each classroom every Evakona Education Course works to provide a stimulating and exciting environment in which to learn the English language.”

Making sure students continue to learn and grow is an important aspect of the educational process. Akio Evakona elaborates, “Our students have monthly assessments so that they can see their progress. In addition, one-on-one tutoring sessions are held to make sure students can meet their individual goals.”

She continues, “Foreign students are encouraged to come to beautiful New Zealand to study with Evakona Education and improve their English language conversational skills, even when not in the classroom. To meet this mission, we provide a variety of homestays for our students to experience living as a native Kiwi would do.”

Ms. Evakona believes that the beauty of this part of the world contributes to the total experience. “Both of our school campuses are on the Coromandel Peninsula. This is one of the most amazing areas for tourism in New Zealand. We combine this atmosphere with a practical teaching manner in which students can excel while enjoying themselves. We regularly hear from our current and former students that this has led them to excel when taking an intensive course in English-language studies.”
