Roman Tytla Seeks $20,000 in Crowdfunding via Indiegogo to Give Kids an After School Program Like No Other

The Rock Star Dream Show Creates the Ultimate Rock Concert Experience that’s kid-friendly and parent approved.

North Salem, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/05/2014 -- Roman Tytla is an entrepreneur, recording artist and graphic designer with fond memories and an exciting vision. Back in high school, his first band Exitz managed to pull off a successful rock concert in their school’s auditorium without any outside help.

Exitz definitely had a garage band feel as their dads helped out by building props and lighting as their girlfriends helped with concert promotion and backstage show prep including clothing and even make up. This direct involvement in creating music on stage in front of an audience is what made these life-changing events so memorable for Roman and his band.

These positive past experiences collectively fueled his current vision. The idea came to Mr. Tytla almost three years ago. His two teen boys were hanging out with their friends at home when they picked up some musical instruments in his home recording studio and started playing – and playing well. That’s when the idea behind The Rock Star Dream Show struck him like lightning.

The Rock Star Dream Show is unique to every school thanks to the students themselves. Each student’s varying degree of skill and differences in style guarantees a unique rock concert experience every time. While the usual rock band components of drums, guitars and vocals are critical, musicians who can play any instrument are welcomed to be a part of the show. Songs are selected based on the collective skill set of each band and the bands are formed so as to evenly distribute musical and vocal talent as much as possible to make every student rock concert as entertaining to watch while giving the performers themselves as much fun as possible.

Crowdfunding is sought for musical equipment for students in need, to give help to youth centers and less-privileged schools with tight budgets who are not able to afford an arts program, compensation of special musical guest performers, professional light show and sound services and other costs necessary to make this happen.

This crowdfunding campaign ends October 4, 2014.
