J.R. Mats Returns from Rewarding 2015 PGA Merchandise Show, Thanks Booth Visitors

Successful appearance at recent PGA show helped to further spread word about company's innovative, no-compromise Real Feel Golf Mats and other golf practice products, J.R. Mats reports

West Chester, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/11/2015 -- Coming off a successful showing at the 2015 PGA Merchandise show in Orlando in January, J.R. Mats Inc. would like to thank visitors to the company's booth there. The annual PGA Merchandise show helps to put a spotlight on some of the most innovative and worthwhile products in the world of golf, making J.R. Mats' natural-feeling Country Club Elite golf mats and other products a perfect fit. Having held down booth #1952 from January 21 through 23, J.R. Mats representatives were happy and excited to show off the company's compelling products to impressed crowds throughout the show's run.

"The PGA Merchandise show was as exciting and rewarding as we had hoped it would be, and we are thrilled to report that attendees were truly impressed by our Country Club Elite® Real Feel Golf Mat™ and other products," J.R. Mats founder Jay R. McGrath stated, "Being able to demonstrate these products we are so passionate about was a great opportunity, and we would like to thank everyone who came by our booth for a look."

Sprawling over an average of 150 acres of land, normally around half of which is actively maintained turf, the typical golf course is impressively resilient to the wear and stress it experiences from normal play. Because the average course is so large, it has plenty of time to naturally repair and recover from the scattered divots and marks that golfers inevitably leave behind.

That is not the case with practice ranges, where golfers crowd into relatively confined areas to hit many balls consecutively. Because of this, most ranges have traditionally been equipped with practice mats made from artificial grass, instead of the real thing. While this allows for consistent, reliable practice surfaces to strike golf balls from, these standard artificial mats are nothing like the real, yielding turf the game is actually played on.

J.R. Mats changed all that in 2005 with the introduction of the company's Country Club Elite® Real Feel Golf Mat™. Designed to provide a natural, turf-like experience that takes a real tee and allows golfers to swing down and through the ball as they practice, the mat allows for the development of good swing technique even on the practice range. Soon after its introduction, the Country Club Elite® caught the eye of professionals around the world and is now a fixture at such highly regarded schools as The Brian Manzella Golf Academy, the David Toms Academy, and the Mike Bender Golf Academy in Lake Mary, Fla.

Building on the success of the Country Club Elite®, J.R. Mats has since introduced a number of other, equally innovative and satisfying products, including the Uneven Lie golf mat that is designed to allow for the natural-feeling practice of especially difficult shots, as well as the company's Quick & True Putting Turf. All of these unique, industry-leading products were shown off to a great reception at the 2015 PGA Merchandise show in Orlando, raising the company's considerable profile even further and creating a host of new fans.

J.R. Mats Inc. would like to thank everyone who enjoyed demonstrations of the company's products during the show and looks forward to touching base again in the future.
