Marcus Tallberg, author of Shattering Glass, has launched a Kickstarter project in order to fund printing of his novel. The funds raised will go toward publishing fees for 1,000 copies of the book.

Author Marcus Tallberg wants the world to be able to read this fascinating story, so he has launched a new Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the publication fees for 1,000 copies of the book that he will then market and distribute.

These friends are all very different and all have interesting stories that weave together to form a narrative of love and loss. Mikael suffers from his father's desertion of the family; Bella is opinionated and sometimes difficult; Kasper feels taken for granted and neglected; and Erik discovers a dark secret about his past that threatens to destroy his peace of mind. These four friends support each other through difficult times, finding the love and comfort they need from their strong bonds.
According to the book, "This is a story about pain and sorrow, but mostly it's a story about fantastic love and friendship."
Those who pledge at least kr90 will receive one unsigned book, with estimated delivery May 2015. Books can be shipped anywhere in the world. For kr100, donors will receive a signed book, and for kr150 two signed copies of the book. For kr200, donors will receive three signed books and a personal handwritten thank-you letter from the author, and for kr300, the donor receives five signed books, a thank you letter and a digital copy of the book as a PDF.
The Creative Package begins at the kr400 donation level with one signed book, a personal thank you note handwritten by the author, a digital PDF copy of the book, and three book marks handmade by the author. Finally, for kr500, the author is offering all of the above plus a 45-minute "meet the author" session on Skype, and for kr800 the author will meet fans in Stockholm live. For kr1,000, the donor will receive an acknowledgement in the book as well.
