CA Fantasy, an independent film company, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of a new movie, The Parisian, which will be a love story set in both Los Angeles and Paris.
Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/19/2015 -- CA Fantasy, an independent film company located in Los Angeles, California, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for its newest production, The Parisian. Set in both Paris and Los Angeles in "the tradition of Midnight in Paris, Ghost and Serendipity," this movie has been described as "a fantastic love story with magic and a lot of heart."

According to the film's creator, "The Parisian is a romantic fantasy with elements of magical realism, comedy, supernatural, thriller, drama and even a dose of scariness to weave a story about the importance of friendship, overcoming loss, the struggle to find true love and dealing with things in life when they don't go how you hoped they would."
Set against a sweeping backdrop in Los Angeles and Paris, and dealing with several points in time in the hero's life, the film features a diverse cast with three leads, five supporting characters and another 24 speaking parts as well as nearly 200 extras. The film is currently in pre-production, and about 75 percent of the actors have been cast. Location scouting, production design, storyboards and camera testing have all been completed or are currently being completed, and trial shoots have taken place in Paris. Donor rewards include t-shirts, posters, BluRay DVDs, digital downloads, visits to the set and the edit bay, a chance to appear in the music video and even walk-on roles in the movie.
