Manuscript for the Sequel to the Case, a Five-Star Crime Mystery Novel, Completed

Louisville, KY -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/11/2015 -- The sequel to Marc Hirsch's debut mystery novel, The Case, has been completed and delivered to Publisher Books, Authors and Artists (BAA).

Author Marc Hirsh has sent the completed manuscript to BAA. The second title in the Alice White, Investigator series, the crime novel is named Hard Case and has a word count of about 63,000 words.

This time, Alice White must protect her newest client, a US Customs Officer, from the corrupt and dangerous boss of dockworkers. Set in the New York's West Side in 1956, the novel develops against a post-World War II's background.

Marc Hirsch, the author, says, "The manuscript went through a total of eight passes. Then my sharpest critic completed a Beta-read and evaluation. I wanted to deliver the best manuscript I could, and I accomplish that by concentrating on different issues in each pass."

A tentative publication date of July 2015 has been announced by BAA. They will use the same editor, Kathleen Baumgarten, to work on Hard Case that they did in The Case. The finished book will also feature the character interviews, which are characteristic of the titles released by the independent publisher.

The Case has recently received five-star reviews from Readers' Favorite. Between marketing his first two novels and baking bread, Marc Hirsch has already started work on the third book of the Alice White, Investigator series.

The Case (ISBN: 918- 1502767219) is available from Amazon as a Kindle ebook and a paperback. You can find out more about the author on the BAA website
