The new home cinema and swimming pool is planned for completion at George Clooney's ten million pound home in Sonning Eye, with the 18m swimming pool set to be made with Yorkstone, along with a pool house, which includes a Jacuzzi and changing rooms.
The Mill House was purchased last October with his new wife, Amal Alamuddin, and he also applied for the Oxfordshire District Council to allow for the current building plans. The plans are to refurbish a Grade II listed property by the banks of the Thames, which has been accepted.
Progress has already begun, with trees in the area removed to make way for the new bedrooms, offices, kitchen, gym, cinema, offices and swimming pool. Replacement trees have also been planted to help benefit the environment, rather than tear it all apart.
Sheeting has been placed on the site ahead of the work, and scaffolding has also been sighted in the Northern area of the site. Builders have been unloading plants and trees as work began, and the project is expected to be completed in the near future.
