Hotel Operators Asks: Are Online Travel Agencies Offering the Better Deal? Copacabana Announces New Deal

This is a disadvantage for both the customer and the hotel, this method is certainly risky.

Online booking might be an easier way of getting things done but the customers must ask if they are getting the best deal or saving more money in the long run? OTAs have other errors that put hotel operators in a though spot, which occurs due to variance in information. Hotel operators have to constantly monitor this (the OTAs), but changes take time, leaving the consumer with one impression and then faced with a different reality.
