Website Offers New Job Prospects with Online TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Oberon, ND -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/27/2015 -- A new approach to online delivery of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment offers job opportunities to laid-off Government employees.

There was a time when obtaining a job with a Government body meant financial security for life. Government employees felt relaxed and secure in their positions because of the perception that the Government would be untouched by commercial financial crises.

Recent events have proven otherwise, with many Government jobs becoming redundant because of budget cuts.

The effect of a job loss on a Government employee can be devastating because many of them have skills that are directly linked to their positions. These skills will often not map across to the commercial world.

Alexander Wilon, Principal of Safecity Open Learning Network says, "There are plenty of jobs for qualified trainers in the field of vocational education and training. Government employees often have exceptional communication and on-the-job skills which are highly desirable in vocational trainers"

All Australian vocational trainers delivering nationally recognised workplace training courses are required to hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Safecity's Open Learning Network has developed a special distance education program for people who are not able to attend classroom courses or online e-learning programs.

Learners of the Safecity's TAE40110 course download their study material and are able to complete the course at their own pace.

Support is available by telephone, and online via a special web based interactive service offering libraries, videos and resources. The support network is available 24/7.

Sharon Flinders, the course manager of Safecity Open Learning Network says, "We also offer recognition of prior learning (RPL) online. Former Government employees who become redundant often have skills, competencies and qualifications that they can use as evidence towards RPL for some of the units or in some cases the entire qualification."

There are no educational prerequisites and students are able to start the course immediately by paying a small deposit.
