Innovative Programme Designed to Transform India's Emerging Workforce Set to Launch in September

 

Mumbai, India -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/02/2015 -- According to Aspiring Minds, 47% of graduates in India are not employable for any industry role. 36% are considered suitable only for clerical and secretarial jobs and around 21% are considered suitable only for BPO and IT jobs. It is set to launch this year with a soft launch planned for September. The vision of the organization is to empower youth to achieve their career aspirations.

Founder and CEO, Sonali Sinha who has two decades of experience across the corporate and social sectors prior to setting up SoaringEagles Learning has always taken an interest in mentoring team members in the various positions she has held in her career. The former CEO of Dignity Foundation, an NGO working for senior citizens realized that the type of personal and professional development tools and ideas that are used in the corporate world to better employees and maximize productivity were not readily available until graduates had already selected their careers.

She said, "One of the big social issues that kept coming to my attention was the low employability of graduates, so I decided to do something about it. A lot of research and interviews convinced me that the problem was genuine and the solutions few."

Implementing a system for graduates to receive this support would help them make more suitable career choices. According to Sonali Sinha, it would create a social impact and a generation of more productive, successful people.

The objective of SoaringEagles is to work with the youth and achieve their goal and also develop the essential communication, problem-solving and commercial awareness skills that make them more attractive to companies that are hiring.
