DHgatescam.org Reminds Online Retailers and Consumers About the Prevailing Fraudulent Transaction Processes in DHgate

With the changes that happening in DHgate, this only proves that the credibility and reputation of this company is still in question because ever since it was established in 2004, scam practices are still prevalent in this B2B marketplace and they haven’t still manage to solve issues within their system.

Durham, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/21/2015 -- Recently, DHgate announced its latest upgrade in its merchant rating system in order to increase the buyer experience and confidence towards the Beijing-based eCommerce platform. Based on the latest reports, DHgate is planning to transform itself from being a seller's service to a portal that caters the needs of the buyers. They also launched a separate eMarketplace where the manufacturers could sell their products directly to other businesses and another website that will provide logistic services. With these changes that happening in DHgate, this only proves that the credibility and reputation of this company is still in question because ever since it was established in 2004, scam practices are still prevalent in this B2B marketplace and they haven't still manage to solve issues within their system.

The great decline in the sales of DHgate due to a number of scam cases in this eMarketplace is apparent on the recent decline that can be observed in the United States and Canada. It was noted that from 80% of the first full year operation in 2005, the value of merchandise purchased of United States from DHgate have plummeted to 44% while great sales dive is also observed in Canada with 6% down to 4.86% at the end of 2014. It is the DHgate itself who have revealed that several anomalies are really happening on their portal that has pushed them to look for ways to resolved this.

In fact, certain red flags were identified that makes the question, "Is DHgate a scam site?" plausible are;

1 – making merchants or suppliers pay undisclosed marketing to DHgate when it fact, their front is it is free and will only recommend the sellers as first-rate services.

2 – Slow/long response time of sellers in the portal with regards to product quality, product information, and the details of the shipping status.

3 – Traditional warehousing of sellers where they don't have inventory in stock, thus it result to receiving items that were not specifically described by the seller or never receive at all.

4 – Longer processing time because when sellers don't have the items available, they put fake tracking number to prolong the processing time.

With the recent ongoing developments that are happening in DHgate, it only means that DHgate is aware by these shameful practices but tends to ignore and cover it with fake testimonials just to clear the name of the eCommerce platform to save their selves and protect the shams lurking in their platform.

The bottom line is, if someone will again raise a question about the legitimacy of DHgate as an eCommerce platform, the answer would be yes. However, if they can be trusted? That depends on how consumers will take all the red flags aforementioned with regards to making a transaction with DHgate, which is enough to prove they have credibility and integrity issues that need to be deal with.
