Feltham, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/24/2015 -- There are many firm fans of the seasonal film 'A Christmas Story' – and this time of year is more appropriate to show appreciation for it than ever. Recent reports highlight that fans can now see more of the film than ever before – in the form of the Red Ryder BB Gun used in the production itself, which has just gone on display at A Christmas Story House and Museum!

The museum is testament to how popular the film and associated Christmas culture is, with the acquired BB gun adding a highly important prop to the current collection. The gun is original and was custom-made at the time; a Red Ryder carbine action 200-shoot range model. In the film it is used by Ralphie Parkie and is set to attract much attention.

Rather than a commemorative replica, the real thing is obviously exciting. A number of visitors are already getting ready to view the gun and it is expected to become a permanent feature of the museum which is based in Cleveland, Ohio.
