According to Dr. Wong, Retinal Cameras vary from model to model, but are generally able to capture up to a 200-degree picture of the inside of a patient's eyes, helping to detect tumors, diabetic eye disease, changes due to glaucoma, vascular changes due to high blood pressure, and more.

Thankfully the patient elected to have retinal photos taken, which revealed several tumors in the peripheral retina that would otherwise not be able to be seen. The patient was found to have metastatic cancer. Luckily, they were treated just in time so that their life was saved. The patient had no presenting symptoms!"
