ACT I Announces Corey Gomez to Lead Financial and Cost Analysis Programs

 

Arlington, VA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/02/2017 -- Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, L.L.C. (ACT I), an industry-leading provider of Total Acquisition Management solutions, announces Mr. Corey Gomez, as Senior Contract Project Manager for multiple DoD contracts.

Under his leadership, ACT I delivers high quality programmatic and financial solutions in support of the U.S. Air Force, and Allied Ministries of Defense (MOD) acquisition and financial management programs," said Mr. Michael Niggel, ACT I CEO.

Mr. Gomez is a Contract Project Manager with over 16 years of experience in finance, cost analysis, business analysis, and total acquisition management with a primary focus on support to ACT I's defense and allied partner customers. He currently is Program Manager overseeing two of ACT I's active support contracts and is overseeing start-up activities on two additional contracts. He serves as Program Manager on ACT I's F-35 Japan Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) support contract providing strategic advice, cost analysis and Industrial Participation (IP) support to Japan Ministry of Defense (JMOD). Additionally, he oversees ACT I's specialized cost services and cost estimating modeling subcontract efforts with the Air Force Cost Analysis Agency (AFCAA), and Hanscom AFB Specialized Cost Analysis Contracts.

Mr. Gomez's formerly served as a Finance Manager at BearingPoint, Inc. and in cost engineering positions with the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) providing support to the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), Boeing V-22, and Airborne Electronic Attack Analysis of Alternatives (AEA AOA) programs. Mr. Gomez holds a Master in Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
