Hochman & Goldin Discuss New Florida Driver Licenses

Hochman & Goldin is reminding drivers about the availability of the newly redesigned Florida driver’s licenses, which the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) has now made available across the state.

Miami, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/07/2018 -- The new Florida driver's licenses are the most secure ones yet. The DHSMV collaborated with law enforcement to improve security measures so drivers have a greater peace of mind knowing their information has fewer odds of being exposed to common issues such as identity theft, counterfeiting, or creating fake copies of the license.

Florida's new licenses have also been improved in regards to how they can be used. Anyone with a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) hunting license can have the designation added to the license, reducing the number of licenses a person needs to carry. Additionally, the new license can display vital information including but not limited to whether the driver is an organ donor, if he or she is hard of hearing, or if the person is insulin dependent.
