Himrod, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/05/2018 -- In March, Miles Wine Cellars will donate a portion of sales to the New York Farm Bureau.

The New York Farm Bureau started in 1911; their mission is to improve the income of farmers, and, by extension, the economy of the region. They do this by providing promotion, educational services and legal help. They also include programs such as the Young Farmers and Ranchers Program, which identifies the needs for young farmers, including leadership and social skills and Workers' Comp Program, which helps keep employees and their families safe by providing compensation insurance for farmers.

During the month of March, Miles Wine Cellars eagerly brings this cause to the spotlight. Suzy Hayes from Miles Wine Cellars said, "There is so much that the bureau does for our region, and we think more people should know about it and support it."

This event is part of the winery's Year of Giving Campaign. Throughout the year, Miles Wine Cellars is donating a portion of sales to different causes as their way of giving back to causes both local and national.
