Antony Page
Vice Dean and Professor of Law
Antony Page came to IU in the Summer of 2003. An expert in corporate law, he graduated with Distinction from Stanford Law School and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He also served as articles editor on the Stanford Law and Policy Review . Prior to arriving in Indiana, he worked in mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate finance at the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell in both their London and Los Angeles offices. He also clerked for the Honorable A.L. Alarcon, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable H.L. Hupp of the U.S. District Court, C.D. CA. From 1990 to 1994 he worked for the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, serving as Second Secretary & Vice Consul in Thailand, Laos and Burma; Trade Commissioner in the Asia-Pacific South Division; and Assistant Trade Commissioner in the European Union Trade and Economic Relations Division.
His publications include official Canadian government reports and guides such as Foreign Investment in Thailand and An Exporter’s Guide to Sri Lanka . He has also published in a variety of journals, including the Boston University Law Review, Georgia Law Review, Illinois Law Review, Michigan Law Review, and Stanford Social Innovation Review, and his work has been cited by U.S. courts including the Supreme Court and four state supreme courts. Professor Page has received the Outstanding New Faculty Member Award from the student body, an Indiana University Trustees' Teaching Award, and has also been awarded John S. Grimes Fellowships and Dean Fellowships.
Honorable Tim A. Baker
U. S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Indiana
Tim A. Baker is a frequent speaker on various legal education topics. He was awarded the Dr. John Morton Finney, Jr. Award for Excellence in Legal Education from the Indiana State Bar Association. Judge Baker was appointed U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Indiana in 2001. He has been a frequent speaker on various legal education topics. In 2008, Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. appointed Judge Baker to a three-year term to the Federal Judicial Center’s Magistrate Judge Education Committee. In 2011, Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. appointed Judge Baker to a three-year term as Chair of that same committee, which is responsible for educating new and experienced magistrate judges nationwide.
From 1995 until his appointment to the bench, Judge Baker served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana. Prior to serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Judge Baker was in private practice from 1991 to 1995 with Barnes & Thornburg in Indianapolis, and from 1989 until 1991 served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Larry J. McKinney of the Southern District of Indiana.
Judge Baker graduated with distinction from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1989, where he was an editor of and contributor to the law review. Judge Baker has published numerous other articles in various journals, magazines, and newspapers.
Honorable Gary L. Miller
Marion County Superior Court Judge
The Honorable Gary L. Miller served on the Marion County Superior Court Civil and Criminal Divisions from 1991 to 2008. Judge Miller founded Miller Meyer LLP following his time on the bench and practiced until 2013 when Governor Mitch Daniels re-appointed Judge Miller to the Court. Judge Gary L. Miller was re-elected in 2014 and currently serves the Marion County Superior Court. He is a 1980 graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Since 1992, Judge Miller has served as an adjunct professor of law at his alma mater. He is a frequent speaker on legal topics and has lectured for the Indiana Judicial Center, National Business Institute, Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and many other organizations.
Parking is available for a nominal fee at the campus Gateway Garage, located on the corner of Michigan and California Streets (Address is 525 Blackford Street).
