“Last month, philanthropist MacKenzie Scott announced her latest philanthropic investments in organizations “supporting the voices and opportunities of people from underserved communities.” We are enormously grateful to have received a $7 million gift. It is the largest single gift in our organization’s history, and we are sincerely thankful to Ms. Scott for her belief in our hard-working Scholars and their extraordinary achievements.
This gift is not only a huge win for our students; it is a powerful validation of our impact on their lives. We are one of a very few organizations in the country exclusively dedicated to championing community college students.” – Aneesh Sohoni, CEO, One Million Degrees
